If you come to Belgium to work as a placement in a European institution, in a non-profit organization (asbl) or in an international company?

• As a trainee you can register with Belgian social security and therefore benefit from health care reimbursement when you go to the doctor chemistry and/or to the hospital.
  

How can you benefit from the Belgian social security system?

• Request the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) from the social security scheme in your country (see enclosed list).
  Once you have your European Health Insurance Card, you only have to fill in the online membership form, sign it and send it back with a copy of your European Health Insurance Card.
